A Sunny Fall Morning

The main reason I’m so far behind in blog entries is simply the awesome fall weather we’ve had in the Pacific Northwest. I find it nearly impossible to sit inside in front of a computer when it’s a sunny outside, even if the birding isn’t outstanding.

Perhaps it’s just the magical pull of the moon on a clear, bright morning,

the beauty of the Fall wetlands,

or just the chance to greet migrating songbirds I haven’t seen for a while, like White-Crowned Sparrows,

and a rarely seen Peregrine Falcon,

even if it was so far away it was difficult to identify without binoculars.
