Thank you, thank you, thank you. You don’t know how much I needed something like this right now.
Thank you, Loren.
I think I was inspired by The Scarlet Letter where the Puritans punished Hester by putting a scarlet letter on her chest.
God, being more beneficient, gave her a child as a reminder of her sin and, more importantly, as a chance to redeem herself.
You’ll have to guess what the first half of this statement is.
Would the scarlet letters “GW” have anything to do with it?
Oh I wish I could see a daffodil – Yesterday as I was walking home from the store I noticed a few of the south facing slopes were finally free of snow and I sawthe first hint of a bunch of snowdrops peeking their heads up. Today I woke up to 4 inches of fresh snow đ Ah well March in Rossland is often that way and we need the snowpack for the summer anyways đ
Thank you for the gorgeous daffodils.
When a much loved French Professor died, I read Robert Herrick’s To Daffodils because her favorite color was yellow.
And then for years after I was married, I received a bunch of daffodils still in bud.
Did you ever find Wendell Berry’s email address? I am looking for it.
