We had a touch of sunshine between clouds yesterday, so I decided to visit the Pt. Defiance Rose Garden one last time this year. It’s definitely Fall, as I couldn’t find a single rose worth photographing.
All of the perimeter beds have been tilled and raked, awaiting Spring transplants. Half of the Dahlias have been cut down or pulled out already, too, so I felt rather lucky to be able to get the pictures that I did.
My favorites were this yellow and pink dahlia
and this purple and gold dahlia.
Luscious!
I’m not sure which is more perfect – the flowers or your photography.
It’s decided! I’m saving for a better camera.
