Local birding seems to have slowed down as winter residents leave and summer residents are still arriving, but it’s impossible to walk Theler Wetlands without being serenaded by the ever-cheerful Song Sparrow.
These fearless troubadours seem indifferent to human visitors and more than willing to pose for the camera.
What, no recording of their song? What kind of “song” post about a songbird is this?? 🙂
I gave considerable thought to doing precisely that but it required more thought than I had to embed it without having it play whenever the page opened — and I positively hate that.
Always love hearing them sing. Beautiful photos.
