PBS’s This Emotional Life Premiers Tonight

I’ve started reading poetry again and probably could have posted a poetry entry today, but I was struck by a link in the Seattle Times to a PBS program co-funded by Paul Allen. The series is entitled This Emotional Life and premiers tonight, perhaps in mere minutes on the other side of the United States.

The whole series sounds fascinating, but I was particularly drawn to some of the blogs associated with the series. An entry entitled Happiness Exercise: Writing somehow seemed most appropriate here. Hopefully, you’ll find it as interesting and relevant as I did.

Although I was perfectly happy not blogging during my recent Christmas vacation, I think I would have been even happier if I’d had the time to blog about it. Sharing my joy has become a part of that joy over the years since I started blogging.

  1. It must have been a hard holiday! You are having trouble counting. We actually have 8 grandchildren (not including the dog)!

  2. Interesting. Another thing about regular writing is you’re not always as sure you’re writing about what you think you’re writing about as you think. I once kept a diary for 6 months and experienced this when I read it back later!

  3. I have now read the suggested link Loren and I agree absolutely with what is said on it. I am just about to write a post on the subject, so hopefully you may read it to see what I feel about it.
