It’s been nearly three weeks since I’ve been at Lake Waughop in Steilacoom, but it turns out everything is just as I left it.
The snapdragons are as beautiful as ever.
Cardinal Meadowhawks patrol the water.
Baby Wood Ducks
are still watched by their mothers,
while Mt. Rainier continues to tower over its realm
knowing everything is just as it’s meant to be, still perfect in its moment.
wow! the cardinal meadowhawk is beautiful. i love the tiny gripping feeling of dragonflies as they spend time on me in the summer.
mount rainier – looks like an old volcano.
beautiful pictures loren.
everything is as it should be! have a peaceful day,
steven
Ah, I haven’t been there since I left my job at Pierce College…that is one of the things I miss, walking around the lake. Great photos, too.
