I took advantage of yesterday’s 45 minutes of sunshine to run down to Owens Beach. By the time I got there, I was already playing hide-and-go-seek with the sun. I did manage to get this picture of the first Pigeon Guiillemot I’ve ever seen locally, even more unusual because it’s the first time I’ve ever seen one not in their breeding colors.
Here’s a shot of a female Goldeneye that I love because of the reflections, not the bird itself.
I always love the water shots from your camera!
There are stories of Claude Monet running through the streets like a madman to capture a certain place in a certain light. He had his brushes, you’ve got you’re camera. 🙂
Your mad dash paid off Loren – two super shots.
i especially love the way the goldeneye contributes to the piece with its wake.kjm
