More synchronicity. I haven't thought about e.e. cummings for a long time, but in the last few days I read a poem which began "my father walked through dooms of love." Spring is a good time to revisit e.e. cummings.

Coincidence! I just brought my copy of Cummings down from the shelf in the bathroom! Synchronicity. I haven't read him for years and had this urge to look again.

I think you make a very interesting observation about a connection with the Metaphysical Poets. I'd never thought of that but it seems to make sense.

He was and still is my favorite poet as well. And it's funny that you post about him now, becasue for the last 2 months or so, I have had the urge to get out his books and read again. Now I know I will have to do that!
