Tomorrow I say goodbye to a colleague and good friend.
Saturday after next I’m off to say hello to Sydney Jo, my granddaughter born Monday morning.
Luckily, even at my age there seems to be some reason to get up after you’ve been knocked down .

congratulations loren, she’s lovely
The song that came into my head was Harry Chapin’s “Circle”. It doesn’t really apply, I guess, but it does, in a way. “It seems like I’ve been here before, I can’t remember when, but I get this funny feeling that we’ll all be together again”.
