Political Blogs

I’m wondering if any of my regular readers have also been following political blogs that they particulalry like. I haven’t been following as closely as I probably should have, but my interest is rising as mid-term elections near.

Unfortunately, most of the blogs I linked to during the last election seem to have disappeared, as you can tell from the updated link section.

Though I obviously have a liberal bias, I’d like to read blogs that avoid name-calling and actually offer evidence and reasons to support their position. I’d appreciate if know of such blogs that you drop me a line in comments.

I read Bull Moose (http://bullmooseblogger.blogspot.com/); The Moderate Voice is generally good (http://themoderatevoice.com/). Steven Taylor’s Poliblog is conservative-leaning, but still good (http://www.poliblogger.com/). I’ve gotten tired of the rants of many sites (some would say my site has too many rants).

http://www.eurotrib.com/ and its US cousin http://www.boomantribune.com/ ?
BooMan seems a bit more political than EuroTrib. Both have (like ‘In a Dark Time’!) enough variety to keep me interested.
Thanks for the pictures and words.
Best wishes

Thanks for the leads, guys, I’ve set them all up in NetNewsWire and will be checking them out for the next few weeks.

Loren, you confessed to a liberal bias…a glance at my suggestions will reveal my inclinations, however, politics be damned I appreciate fine writing
