Old Growth Forest

Here,
trees don’t reach
the sky.
They are
the sky,

I had to splice together three photographs together to make this shot, kenju, so you’re meant to have to scroll to capture the feeling I had when I took the picture.

Imagine they are actually cutting these down - all over the world. they say it is better that people get to eat than the forests get to live… which if you look at it is not an unfair argument. i mean people who get to eat by cutting a tree is completely justified in doing that.
On the other hand, these trees - revered and old trees are losing their life, and maybe some people a few decades from now will lose theirs.
the question then is which life is more important, and who decides.
i think, the way our world is organised (for want of a better word) people who decide are least educated and even less interested.

That’s a forest I’d like to adventure and play in.
