In a Dark Time … The Eye Begins to See

Although I love the front garden at our new house, it’s still easy to take it for granted,

barely glancing at it while on the way to grander views at the park.

When I’m carrying my Canon, though, I often find myself stopping to take pictures, and, when I do I, often find myself awed by such purple majesty:
